Repulse Bay
Repulse Bay is one of Hong Kong's most popular beaches and gets extremely crowded on hot summer days. At one end of the beach is the colorful Kwun Yum (Guanyin) Temple with Buddhist statues protecting Hong Kong's waters, which featured in the classic 1955 Hong Kong film 'Love is a Many Splendored Thing'.
The Repulse Bay hotel once faced the seas, but has been replaced by luxurious apartments. After a fun day on the beach or enjoying water sports, local residents and tourists enjoy barbeques at the top of the beach.
